Brewery Heir Coors on Colo. GOP Ballot

Coors, who has been criticized for never holding an elected office, said his family supported Ronald Reagan when he ran for governor. He urged delegates to pray for Reagan, who died later in the day.

"Some believe Ronald Reagan should not have run for office because he had never run before, he had never been elected," Coors said. "There came a time when he was no longer willing to stand on the sidelines, and today, neither am I."

Practical businessman with real ideals over a professional polished partisan politician producing gridlock

Listening to Bob Schaffer brings one clear thought to my mind:

"Bob Schaffer is a polished professional partisan politician producing gridlock in politics."

In the debate Schaffer continually mentioned "my time in Congress" to the point of becoming annoying. It is the polished politicians who have us in the mess we are already in.

Pete Coors is a practical businessman who talks about real ideals and goals for the future. Pete Coors is an honest kind of straight talker whose merits stand on their own. Coors does not have to repeatedly say: "I, me, my and mine" as Bob Schaffer does. Voters must weigh real substance over style and vote for Pete Coors.
